Last winter we
reported on the Minnesota Orchestra's plans to remodel Orchestra Hall, in downtown Minneapolis (and more recently on a
scheme to repurpose the building's iconic blue tubes). The $40-million revamp is well underway, mainly expanding the hall's cramped public areas, but fixing a lot of other issues as well, under the guidance of the Toronto-based architectural firm KPMB. here.) Construction is slated to wind up next summer.
