Following our selection of some favorite public artworks in Saint Paul two weeks ago, here is our take on the beautiful and the quirky in Minneapolis outdoor art--minus the Spoonbridge and Cherry, which is terrific but a little overexposed. (We're also leaving out the rest of the Walker Art Center's Minneapolis Sculpture Garden--our premier public art showcase--in favor of works scattered around the city.) It's just a taste of the richness available, designed to get you outside looking at art before the snow flies.

Sustainability Reborn: 5th Street North side of Target Field, facing LRT station.
Rockman: Courthouse Plaza, 4th Street South between 3rd and 4th avenues.
The Fourth Sister: East Franklin Avenue at 14th Street.
