Slide Show: There are odd things in the snow as art sleds take over Powderhorn Park

On Sunday, January 30, the slopes of Powderhorn Park in South Minneapolis came alive with some very strange sleds indeed as the fourth annual Art Sled Rally slid, wobbled, and tumbled into history. The make-your-own-bizarre- sled event is a project of South Sixteenth High Jinks, a group of Powderhorn neighborhood artists and other residents who, as their web site proclaims, seek "to enrich the spirit of community life in Powderhorn through free public events with a focus on artistic expression and out-of-the-ordinary spectacle." Our own Bill Kelley was there to capture high points of this very out-of-the-ordinary winter afternoon.
