A village within the city, Saint Anthony Park feels a bit like New England: hilly, with curving streets, a jewel-box Carnegie public library built in 1917, and a retail center that boasts three of the city's most tasteful and popular establishments: Micawber's Books, the Finnish Bistro bakery-cafe, and Muffuletta, which describes itself as a "chef-driven bistro." The expansive campus of Luther Seminary (it's Lutheran) adds a note of studious reverence to the area.
